FUF: Puffy Heart Peacock Necklace & Earrings

I am thrilled with this sweet necklace made with a vintage sterling silver puffy heart featuring an Art Nouveau peacock design, vintage Japanese glass beads and vintage Swarovski crystals. My favorite part? The little 'fob' I made by carefully applying patina to raw brass and manipulating it into the shape you see here.

Sweet Victorian Style Earrings Now Available for All Jeweled in White

I am thrilled with these sweet Victorian style earrings as the newest addition to my All Jeweled in White line. The metal beehive shape components are made on presses using antique metal stamping plates, then finished in a dreamy antique brass finish right here in the USA. I used vintage pearls and Czechoslovakian crystals and the tiniest little cast bead to finish these pretty earrings. They sway nicely - not too long, not too short - and are perfect dressed up or down and with all of the pieces in the collection.

I can't believe we're here - the final blog post in B'Sue Boutique's 2016 Build a Line Challenge (BALC)! It has been an incredible learning experience for me and I'm pleased to announce the first run of the All Jeweled in White collection!

Sweet Charm Earrings

I am busy working on inventory for an upcoming show in Lebanon, OH. I am planning to bring my new All Jeweled in White line, but wanted some sweet and simple earrings as a nice option for people looking for gifts. I love how these charm earrings accented with tiny crystal beads turned out!

One of the things I love about selling vintage/antique jewelry is watching styles come, go, and come back again refreshed in some way to make them current and trendy.

Refresh & Renew! Louis Comfort Tiffany Does Pantone 2016

One of the things I look forward to each year is the unveiling of Pantone's color report and their color of the year. While 2015 was focused on saucy Marsala, which I personally like paired with spicy compliments, I am pleasantly surprised by this year's soft colors: 'Rose Quartz' and 'Serenity.' I think of soft sunsets, cool breezes and gentle waves on a lake with these two colors. While each stands on their own or blended together as Pantone suggests in their cover statement, they are spectacular when tied together with other found-in-nature colors.
